Mrs. Asima Qureshi

Mrs. Asima Qureshi is an energetic and an experienced academic professional. With over 29 years experience at Springfields School, Masab Tank including 15 years as a Teacher, she has always looked at the best interests of the students and the institution. She also served as a Coordinator for 6 years, Headteacher for 1 year and 6 years as the Headmistress before taking on the responsibility as the Principal of the institution.

Mrs. Qureshi is friendly and attentive in dealing with parents and adept at handling administrative matters with ease and enthusiasm. She is an excellent organizer, motivator and counselor, and can make students feel comfortable and enjoy coming to school. Under her guidance and watchful eye, a healthy and disciplined environment prevails in the school. Mrs. Qureshi has a Bachelor of Arts Degree along with a Bachelor of Education Degree from Osmania University and has attended several teacher and academic training programs, as well as leadership development programs. She keeps herself abreast of the latest developments in the education world and incorporates new ideas into the functioning of the school working closely with the school administration team and management.

Springfields School, Masab Tank has successfully completed more than 3 decades of imparting quality education and by the Grace of the Almighty maintained excellent pass percentage throughout. Embracing the vision of our founder, Mr. Bashiruddin Babukhan we at Springfields Masab Tank carry on the mission of providing a platform for the all-round development of students regardless of which background they come from.

Our curriculum design is the result of our more than 30 years of research and training programs in the field of early childhood education; high school academic planning and teacher empowerment programmes.

The teachers of Springfields School Masab Tank are its greatest asset. They create an effective methodology to deal with children of different aptitudes and skills. They are capable of handling the behavior of children and can efficiently make them learn with rhymes, games, storytelling and acting in the lower classes and using technological tools and audio-visual aids in the higher classes. They conduct various activities to make learning interesting and enjoyable. They are polite and ensure that they inculcate values and manners in the students. Teachers of higher classes are well-experienced in identifying weaker students and guide and coach them individually, so as to help them prepare for examinations with confidence.

The administration team at Springfields School, Masab Tank is a seasoned group of professionals, including some teachers and other staff members who make important governance decisions in the school. There are designated heads for various accountability areas such as Transportation, Mid-day Meals, Finance & Accounts, Sports and Discipline.

We have appointed 5 academic coordinators for the vigilant supervision, coordination, smooth working and implementation of our policies.

  • Mrs. Mubeen Asra Ahmed (B.A. B.Ed.) the senior-most staff member of the institution, who is designated as the coordinator and director of creative arts has consistently dedicated herself to the School and has completed over 27 years of imparting education. She plays a key role in counselling students and is responsible for organizing various school events.

  • Mrs. Nazia Sultana (M.Com. B.Ed.) has joined Springfields School, Masab Tank as an academic coordinator from the year 2024. She has more than 13 years of experience in various roles and responsibilities related to academics and maintenance of school discipline. She efficiently oversees the school’s teaching – learning modules and monitor’s student performance, working closely with all the teachers to identify and improve teaching methodologies to bring better outcomes.

  • Mrs. Rafathunissa Shabana (B.A. B.Ed.) designated as a coordinator is an inspiring, committed and passionate teacher with 24 years of experience as a Teacher of English & Social Studies in the institution. She is a disciplinarian, ensuring proper student behavior and instills moral values in them.

  • Mrs.Samreen Faheem (B.Sc. B.Ed.) designated as a coordinator, has been giving her dedicated services to the institution since 2004. She also teaches mathematics with ease and efficiency along with her other duties as a coordinator.

  • Mrs. Yaseen Sultana (B.Com. PGDECE.) is a pleasant, industrious and persevering teacher, who has completed more than 25 years of service in the school, serves as a coordinator for the Preparatory Section. She handles the little kids gently and cares for their every need.
